Educated Yorkshire - find us at stand 75

School Postcards is very excited to be taking part in this year’s Educated Yorkshire event (EY16) on Thursday 10th November. EY16 is a free event promoting a positive education message and addressing the pressures on schools and colleges to become more than just educators.

Why are we exhibiting?

EY16 is all about giving educators the tools to connect, learn, collaborate, inspire and innovate. At School Postcards we work with schools in all these areas and this is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our work and connect with more schools.

We believe that by keeping our finger on the pulse we can provide a better service. Attending EY16 gives us the chance to speak with headteachers and senior leadership teams across the region. By speaking with these decision makers we can ensure that we understand the wants and needs of schools so we can continue to support them effectively.

EY16 allows us to promote the huge benefits of our work in schools. We often find that it’s only when we meet face-to-face with senior staff that they really get a full understanding of what we can do. We take the time to find out what the school needs, what their aspirations and objectives are and how we can support them. It’s not unusual for schools to change their mind completely about what they want following our initial meeting. Quite often we meet headteachers regarding a specific project but the brief changes entirely once they realise the extent of what we can create and the value it adds.

We do much more than just design and we want to use EY16 to show schools exactly what we offer. We take the time to find out what the school needs, what their aspirations and objectives are and how we can support them.  We work with pupils and staff to bring ideas to life and design beautiful graphics, colourful characters and engaging reward systems. Our creative workshops help the pupils develop communication and teamwork skills whilst allowing them to use their imaginations and have fun.

What would you like to see?

? Blank sign to ask what you want to see.Our biggest goal is to connect with as many schools as possible and get a good insight into what schools actually want.

In order to attract as many people as possible to our stand we’d love to hear your ideas on what you’d like to see there. Of course we’ll be bringing plenty of examples of designs we have created, but what else would give you a better understanding of what we do? Let us know what you’d like to see on our stand or what you think will help us stand out.

Why come and see us?

Come and see us to find out more about how we can engage pupils in school values, create rewards systems that work and build better connections between home and school.

Every visitor to our stand will receive a bespoke badge that we have created especially for this event. We’ve also put together a great prize for the EY16 treasure trove. We know how hard headteachers work, so our prize is aimed at helping them relax. The gift basket contains a £20 Cineworld voucher and plenty of snacks to help the winner unwind.

Consistent, cohesive branding communicates a strong, clear message that children can understand. Our work inspires children, parents and teachers.  We have really made a difference in the schools we work with and we want to continue to make a difference in more schools across Yorkshire. Come and see us to find out how.

Where can you find us?

The event takes place on Thursday 10th November from 9am to 5pm in the Leeds United Centenary Pavilion at Elland Road.

We’ll be exhibiting at Stand 75, opposite the bar. We’re sharing our stand with a sign writing company, Visual Impact, who we regularly work with to create colourful, child friendly graphics for schools.
